photo-1554415707-6e8cfc93fe23.jpeg Today's world is technology-driven and people with strong technical skills are in high demand. For establishing a marketplace advantage and for driving innovations, it is essential to bring more girls to the STEM field. There may not be a clear difference between male and female careers, but society certainly believes that some roles are more suited to girls and others to boys. It is high time to shatter all stereotypes and encourage girls to pursue careers in STEM.

Getting more girls in STEM is beyond important. This can be done by inspiring girls to dream BIG.

  • Technology is one of the most innovative and exciting industries to enter. It provides you the chance to innovate and make everyday living more efficient. Supporting girls to take up careers in STEM is essential to build great products, grow a company, and doing good in general.
  • The world needs more STEM professionals With technological advancements and more scientific research taking place, the need for STEM professionals has increased, then why not women? The research activities become more reliable when both genders are involved. This also ensures gender diversity in the workplace.

  • Becoming role models When girls see other successful women in technology or female tech entrepreneurs, it offers them hope that they can succeed as well. Girls then feel motivated and get inspired to make an impact in the world of technology and science.

  • Breaking stereotypes and promoting girls It is important that we break stereotypes and promote young girls. Statements like “Boys are better at math" should not be used by teachers and parents. Women Belong in the Lab Sticker.png

Also, women shouldn’t forget opportunities to help one another. After all, women need to support women.
